The Social Marketing Suite, or, News from the Work Front

February 24, 2010

Context Optional, the company I work for, has officially launched its Social Marketing Suite!  The Suite — the project I’ve been working on — allows users, such as brand managers at companies and agencies, to manage their presence on social networks from one place, from launching interactive applications to moderating user content (such as posts to their Facebook Walls) to publishing their own content and analyzing social media data.

For the last 8 months, I’ve been building the applications module, which lets users create and highly customize Facebook apps without having to write any code themselves. It has been a tremendous and highly satisfying experience in building an intricate product from the ground up. I’m proud to have been part of this team and of the work we’ve done, which has already produced some very cool apps for some big (Fortune 500) clients.

Since launching we’ve already been covered in the media, which is awesome:

  • MediaPost: “Context Optional Ties Together Analytics, Apps and Content Management In New Facebook Tool”
  • VentureBeat:  ”Context Optional launches all-in-one tool for brand marketing on Facebook”
  • SocialTimes: “Context Optional Releases Social Marketing Suite for Conversation Management”

You can see more about the Suite on the company’s website at http://www.contextoptional.com/products/.

Cheers,

Alex K
