After mulling it over, I’ve decided to move my tech blogging from blog.mealstrom.com to this site. My blog posts have increasingly focused on work for the yoga website Alex and I are working on, work done just for the fun of it, or things I’d learned helping others. Near as Mealstrom is to my heart, it made little sense to keep posting unrelated content on its blog.
By moving all my tech blogging here, I have a blog to call home. All my passions can live together — technology, cooking (I have a post on another family recipe half-done), and books and games (among other areas I haven’t yet posted on).
To that end, I’ve imported the Mealstrom blog and kept all the entries not directly related to Mealstrom. This has resulted in some duplicate entries from reposts and a general loss of formatting and images in the imported entries, both of which will be cleaned up over the next few days.
Well, that’s the news. I’m looking forward to posting my next tech entry, about my experience using Capistrano and Jammit on Dreamhost, here on blog.twoalex.com in the near future. Stay tuned!
